Personal circumstances and some kind of procrastination were leading to the fact that my little sailyacht MILVA18 – who definitely is not built for an expedition to Antarctica – had to stay all winter long in her berth. Due to very low water level already in beginning of December, there was no way to get her with 1,15m draught into the wharf for craning at level 0,5m. Surely, exactly this winter is supposed to become a tought one.
